Y - D Custom Leather
This page is solely devoted to my husband's leather business.
My sweet, devoted husband is an accomplished leather worker. He has made holsters for many types of handguns, as well as mag-holders so that the gun owner can carry both his handgun and extra magazines. He has also made belts and knife sheaths, and has done a banjo strap as well for a friend.
He offers many different pattern/stamping options, and personalizes every piece to his customer's satisfaction. There are several different dyes and paints he uses, so you can get your holster or knife sheath or whatever it is you want in any color. He can put your initials on it if you wish, or your entire name if you're interested in that. Each holster is molded to fit the gun you want, and the mag-holders fitted hold the magazines. Knife sheaths require the actual knife for it to be designed, for each knife is a little different and therefore needs a slightly different sheath.
From 1850s style revolvers to Baby Desert Eagles, he can make holsters for any kind of pistol. If you want a belt, just send your preferences in and he can make that for you too. He also can make you a matching belt/holster/mag-holder set!
All of his pieces are priced very carefully. He puts his best effort into them and will remake a piece if it does not satisfy him. He also offers conchos and that kind of thing for the holsters and belts.
Every piece is hand-cut, hand-stamped, hand-dyed, and hand-sewn. No machinery is involved! He personally picks out the leather he will use, too.
Know that if you choose to have D make you something, he will do it to the best of his ability. It will not be skimped on or done half-heartedly. And I will make sure that stays true! 😉

If you are a War Between the States reenactor and you need a period-correct, quality holster made, he can do it for you. If you just need a quality, leather holster without paying a ridiculous price, he can do that, too! I have a holster he gave me for Christmas one year and I love it.
